1. What is the fee structure of Gaurang Gurukul?

2. What is the minimum age for admission to the school?
Ans. The school accepts students for classes Nursery till XIIth
3. What are the school timings?
Ans. The school starts at 9:00 AM and ends at variable times depending on the grade.

5. Is there any annual fee?
Ans. We charge no annual fee.
6. Which board is the school affiliated to?
Ans. We provide the National Curriculum Framework . Students register with NIOS (The National Institute of Open Schooling, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India) and appear for examinations. We will facilitate this process for the students.
7. Will there be writing work?
Ans. Yes, students will have written work, and it is part of the learning material. Parents can capture images from mobile and email us for evaluation/feedback.
8. What about discipline?
Ans. The structured learning system, along with positive reinforcements from teachers, will help students to become disciplined. Of course, we would need the support of parents and others at home to achieve this. Active learning and participation in school activities will ensure that the child is well-occupied in productive things and would reduce the chances of a mind going astray.
9. What happens if my child is unable to do his homework?
Ans. We agree that there would be circumstances and instances when the child is unable to complete the homework or projects. As such, we encourage each child to learn and grow at their own pace. At our end, we provide remedial support, follow-ups and counselling to help you overcome any difficulties.
10. How will examinations be conducted?
Ans. There would be both formative and summative assessments. Students take Examinations based on conceptual understanding and application of knowledge, and this reduces the instances of plagiarism or copying.
11. Who will supervise the students during exams at home? What if the students copy the answers from the internet?
Ans. Students take examinations based on conceptual understanding and application of knowledge, and this reduces the instances of plagiarism or copying. However, for written examination teachers ensure proper supervision.
12. What about picnics and excursions?
Ans. In every quarter, we conduct fun activities and in every 6 months we hold outdoor excursions for all the students. The outdoor excursions there would be additional cost.
13. What is the medium of instruction?
Ans. The medium of instruction is English unless the subject requires another medium of instruction. Parents will be free to communicate in their chosen language if the teacher can follow the same.
14. Do you offer a Foreign Language?
Ans. No, we only have English and Hindi as an offering.
15. Are the teachers well qualified and trained?
Ans. All our teachers meet the eligibility criteria and person specification stipulated by us. We expect teachers to be subject experts and have the necessary skills, aptitude and personality required for teaching. Above everything, all our teachers are spiritual practitioners and hence have very high values and culture. We also conduct regular training sessions for our teachers.
16. Will there be a PTM?
Ans. Yes, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) will be held on a regular basis. Please refer to the School Calendar for the schedule.
17. How can I speak to the Principal / Teachers?
Ans. Parents have multiple ways to reach out to the Principal / Teachers. Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) will be held on a one-to-one basis bi-monthly. In addition to this, Parents can contact the Teachers / Principal through chat, email and calls (through prior appointment). We have defined appropriate levels of escalation to your requests.
18. How do I give feedback about teachers?
Ans. We conduct regular feedback polls and surveys about the teachers and the teaching-learning experience. Additionally, Parents are welcome to communicate their concerns and suggestions using the communication tools like chat, email and calls (through prior appointment).
19. Will the School conduct assembly or daily prayers?
Ans. Yes, each day will begin with Assembly Session of about 30 minutes.
20. Is there a uniform or dress code?
Ans. Students will have School Uniforms. Parents need to purchase it from school authorities.
21. Will the teachers give personal attention to my child?
Ans. Indeed, this is the intent of Gaurang Gurukul. We personalize the education and academic learning experience of students to meet their requirements.
